Jennifer Werely, MD

I'm a board certified neurologist. I graduated from Cornell University with a dual degree in Neurobiology and Behavior/Applied Economics and Management and attended medical school at the University of Buffalo, where I graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha  Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. I completed my neurology residency at NYU Medical Center and stuck around for a clinical neurophysiology fellowship focusing on the care of patients with neuromuscular conditions and epilepsy. I then moved to Connecticut, where as an attending neurologist developed a strong focus on treating complex headache disorders, while maintaining a strong interest in general neurology.  I am the recipient of the John Paroski, MD Memorial Award for Compassion and Excellence in Patient Care, and I was awarded Teacher of the Year at St Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, CT 2014-2015. I enjoy skiing, hiking, live music and spending time with my family.
